I was born in Seoul, grew up in Beijing and am currently based in Hong Kong. Being exposed to different cultures and values since my early years took me to an interesting place where I can shift perspectives to see things from multiple viewpoints, and due to this experience, understanding and connecting with people from different backgrounds has always been something of huge passion to me.
I studied Psychology and Media & Cultural Studies at the University of Hong Kong, where I came to realize the vast amount of influence that overt and subtle messages from media can have on people’s narratives and identities. Upon my graduation, I entered the realm of Public Relations and Content Creation in hopes of cultivating a culture where people can perceive themselves and others from a place of love and compassion through storytelling.
As a communications specialist, I have worked with brands from various industries, ranging from technology, luxury retail, F&B to hospitality, and volunteered at CreativeMornings to facilitate building community through monthly events and digital content. Most of my extracurricular time involves people watching or reading at cafes, discovering new walks in my area (when the weather permits), and building relationship with people over genuine conversations.

“No one else sees the world the way you do, so no one else can tell the stories that you have to tell.” – Charles de Lint
I believe, while it is authenticity that makes each story unique and intriguing, the power of stories lies in creating connections among different individuals through the lens of empathy. I want this website to be a space where you can slow down, pause and reflect on your journey through my first attempts at creative writing and photography.
